ESTEEM: Preparing for life after college
Our ESTEEM program looks to both prepare for life as a Catholic after college, and foster a sense of community among other members from the senior class. Last year about 20 students from Penn & Drexel participated in our program, and it was a great experience.
The program consists of the following:
1 formation meeting a month (8/year): about different topics like Catholic social teaching, Christian leadership, connecting to a local Catholic community, etc. (these will take place virtually through Zoom for the Fall semester at least).
Meet periodically with an assigned mentor (an active Catholic alumnus or adult who works in the field that they hope to enter; will take place virtually).
Participate in a half-day retreat at the beginning of the school year.
Attend a weekend ESTEEM Capstone conference (w/ travel expenses being paid for).
If you have any questions, please reach out to Patrick Travers (ptravers@saintsaj.org).
